Svādhyāya (“we”, “us”, “the app”), available at www.svadhyay.info and app.svadhyay.info, is a self-study manager for students. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain and short on purpose.

In one line: we only collect what's needed to run your study planner, we never sell your data, and your subjects, sessions and schedule are visible only to you.

Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database on Supabase, and the app is hosted on Vercel. We rely on standard protections:

Svādhyāya is made for students, and some may be minors. If you are below the age at which you can agree to online services on your own in your country (for example, 18 for entering a contract in India), please use the app with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from young children without such consent. A parent or guardian may contact us to review or delete a child's information.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and study data are removed. Some minimal records may be retained briefly where required for security or by law.

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you in the app.
